Like their namesakes in the Premier League St Albans are struggling in the bottom three, but unlike the other Saints these ones make a fight of it at home. In very wet conditions St Albans always threatened to make a comeback, it took a brilliant penalty save from Ross Worner to finally kill off the game.

At the other end a shout from the terraces to Kedwell of an offer to buy him a pie and a pint if he scored his penalty gave him the incentive to convert a perfect spot kick. He came over to claim his prize! The small crowd of 407 (£18 to get in!) included about 50 to 60 Hawks fans, the Havant hardcore stood in the rain all the game, the sensible ones took shelter in the stands.
